Hire Charges:
Prices will be provided, on application to our Booking Clerk. (Minimum booking of two hours is required.)

  • Hire time to include set-up and clear-up times.
  • Price on application for Bank Holidays, Christmas & New Years Eve.
  • Overnight parking is not permitted without prior written permission as the car park will be locked upon closure.

Facilities: The main hall is 123m2. It has oak flooring and is naturally light with full length double aspect windows. In the evening the ceiling downlighters can be dimmed for ambient lighting. The main hall can seat up to 100 people with black cushioned banqueting chairs and 15 Gopak Premier white laminate folding tables 1830 x 685mm and 17 lightweight all purpose tables with a brown laminate.

The Village Hall now has FREE Wi-Fi.

The stainless steel kitchen has a six burner electric range, a 400ltr refrigerator, a 150 ltr fridge, a 140ltr freezer, microwave, dishwasher, hot water urn, six pint teapot, crockery and cutlery. There is car-parking for 19 vehicles which includes three disabled spaces and an undercover cycle store. Overflow car carparking is available by special request.

A local catering company 'Amaze In Taste' can offer private party, event catering and bar facilities for Highwood Village Hallif needed.

The Village Hall Committee is committed to making the building a focus for community activity, used by a wide range of individuals, clubs and groups in the local and wider community. In letting the building the Village Hall Committee is effectively managing this important asset for Highwood ensuring its long term sustainability to meet ongoing financial commitments.
